Volkswagen Golf 90 TSI test Drive
Seventh Golf history, playing as always all the clubs for their complete range in engines, transmissions, sports versions, traction systems and body-some pending renewal. All under a Conservative makeover, but with very high development and technical content. Both I now see more accurate to say that golf is more expensive than rivals generalists, but less expensive than the premium.
Skeptics, come and prove ... Some people think that when you can save 20 percent in manufacturing a car is something that has to be a loss of quality, dedication, attention to detail, materials, simplification and there has to be a hopeless turning back. I think not, and I rest my case: the Golf is a clear example. There are manufacturers that talk about improvements in mechanical performance in percentages puzzling, as this new form of manufacturing in Volkswagen and other brands of the group is not more than that, improvement in industrial performance. Do not want to get into whether those savings also derive acquisition costs for the customer, but I think the Golf has had a range of access as price competitive as a continent and in this generation, although it is clear that the savings in the part of manufacturing is not divided equally between manufacturer and customer.
Finally, we set and at the controls of one of its petrol versions, the "unknown" 1.4 TSi 140 CV-although it is the same name, capacity and performance, it has nothing to do with the previous generation -, power from which, as you know, the Golf are divided into two by frame: from now on all Golf use multilink rear axle torsional axis against the less powerful.
But "we use" the Golf before going into detail with behavior or performance. And the first disappointment is when he plays explore its most familiar. There are now less actual liter boot before, and I do not understand where this new generation is larger and wider. The purchase of the month already hard pressed in their 380 liters approved and confirmed by our Technical Centre. But inside, the car gives so much of himself as always, with the disadvantage of its prominent transmission tunnel, the same thing happens to the Audi A3 and Seat Leon cousins. As modular MQB platform that well could have used a different floor for not wearing wheel drive, because it conditions the use with fifth passenger.
Second disappointment, to upload it to the scale: the promised hundred kilos, the Golf has actually removed a lot less compared to earlier TSi-also happened the same with the TDI-, but that does not mean that the Golf is millimeter and instant before any action behind the wheel looking, really, a car lighter than it really is. And third big surprise, coinciding with our test, I have a chance to get on a Golf with a configuration of equipment much more "standard" than our gasoline, are DCC adaptive suspension that equipped our unit. And how would that Golf! I speak specifically of the 2.0 TDi 150 hp benchmark to analyze the interest of TSi.

2014 Bentley Flying Spur First Drive and Review

2014 Bentley Flying Spur First Drive and Review-Kingautocars.blogspot.com. Were not exactly flying through the Chinese countryside in the new Bentley Flying Spur -- more like ducking and dodging stacks of bricks, all manner of glacially moving wheeled conveyances, trash bins, and sleeping dogs in the road. Although well-paved, the route is often treacherous, especially given the hulking, 5500-plus-pound ultra-luxury sedan were driving. In the hardscrabble districts outside the insane, smog-choked bustle of Beijing, the Silverlake blue Flying Spur were piloting sticks out like a big, honking, ostentatious sore thumb. As we snootily barge by a weathered peasant with a massive bundle of sticks impossibly slung over his back, its not lost on me how wide the gap between the haves and the have-nots continues to be here, especially from behind the Spurs $2,235, dual tone, 3-spoke, hide-trimmed steering wheel. Its a car that personifies the nouveau riche mentality of todays China.
Bentley’s substantially new Flying Spur is now more of a luxury car. Customers wanted a more comfortable ride, a better rear seat and more features for owners sat at the back, and that’s exactly what Bentley has done. Now only known as the Flying Spur, as against the Continental Flying Spur, this car is different looking too.
Bentleys styling team has developed an athletic design for the new Flying Spur that combines traditional Bentley styling cues with a sporting stance and contemporary details. Sharp feature lines complement muscular rear haunches, while LED day-time running lights, dipped headlights and taillights characterise the front and rear profiles. The interior designers have created a luxurious, spacious cabin that dresses advanced acoustic and electronic technologies in exquisite hand-crafted leather hides and wood veneers.
Driver and passengers alike interface with the car and the outside world through touch-screen infotainment, mobile connectivity including Wi-Fi, a Rear Seat Entertainment suite and a new hand-held Touch Screen Remote which allows rear-cabin occupants to control an extensive range of features from the comfort of their seat. An eight-channel, eight-speaker audio system with Balanced Mode Radiators provides high quality sound clarity, with the 1100W Naim® for Bentley premium system available as an option.
In true Bentley tradition, it has massive amounts of poke and almost commercial vehicle-like low rpm torque, which makes it feel light and effortless behind the wheel. The blown W12 engine now makes 616bhp, making this the most powerful four-door ‘flying B’ ever. 0-100kph is dispatched in approximately 4.3sec and what gets you dizzy is that performance only gets stronger as you approach 200kph. Despite the fact that this car weighs in excess of 2.5 tons, the massive 81.6kgm of torque from a low engine speed of just 2000rpm just hurls the car forward as if it has been flung forward over-arm by King Kong. What also helps massi
vely is just how well the eight-speed ZF gearbox integrates with the motor, instantly providing you a choice of two gears for any given situation.

With some 20,000 made since it first launched as the Bentley Continental Flying Spur in 2005, this car will not likely go down in history as a collectable classic. But the latest update will no doubt continue to help Bentley develop the Spurs reputation as a high-class sedan to drive and be driven in the world over.
